1. Who we are

Templari is the trade name of Poser8 LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("we," "us," "Templari"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at templari.app and the Templari Suite mobile applications (collectively, the "Services").

2. What the Services are — and aren't

The Services present material from the Western esoteric, divinatory, and scholarly traditions for the purpose of education, reflection, and entertainment. The Services do not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice. They do not predict the future. They are not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional.

Use the Services as you would use a book of philosophy or a deck of cards: as an aid to reflection, not as an oracle.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. The Services are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any Templari Suite app except as permitted by law;
• Scrape or systematically copy the content of templari.app or the apps;
• Use the Services to harass, defraud, or harm any person;
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access control, license check, or rate limit;
• Misrepresent your affiliation with Templari or with Poser8 LLC.

5. Intellectual property

All Templari Suite app code, original copy, original interpretive essays, and the Templari name and visual identity are © Poser8 LLC and protected by United States and international copyright law. Public-domain source texts presented in The Hidden Library remain in the public domain; our editorial work on them — translations, summaries, scholarly notes, interpretation lenses — does not.

You may quote brief passages of our original work for non-commercial purposes with attribution.

6. Affiliate links

The Services contain affiliate links. See our Disclosures for the full statement. Templari may earn a commission when you click through and purchase. This does not change the price you pay.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Some Templari Suite apps offer paid subscriptions or one-time purchases via Apple App Store or Google Play. Those purchases are governed by the store's terms; we cannot process refunds directly and ask that you contact the store you purchased through.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poser8 LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months, whichever is greater.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Salt Lake County, Utah.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance.
